Licensed Sherpa Trekking Guide in Nepal
Why Go Trek Nepal

Why Choose Us?

Based in Thamel, Kathmandu, we are a fully licensed, local team of Sherpa guides and mountaineers. We design every itinerary around safety, acclimatization, and support for local Himalayan communities.

01

Sherpa-Led Expertise

Our guides are born in high-altitude valleys. They hold certified first-aid qualifications and understand Himalayan weather patterns intimately.

02

Fair Porter Protection

We protect the backbone of Nepal's trails. All our porters receive clothing suitable for sub-zero passes, full health insurance, and ethical load weights.

03

Restricted Area Experts

Upper Mustang, Manaslu, and Dolpo require special permits. We process complex governmental paperwork in Kathmandu, ensuring hassle-free logistics.

04

24/7 Safety Infrastructure

From satellite-phone coordination to pulse-oximetry monitoring and emergency helicopter rescue arrangements, your safety is our absolute priority.

What our trekkers say

★★★★★

Our guide Pasang read the weather, the trail and our energy perfectly. When my partner struggled at Lobuche, an extra rest day was arranged within the hour. That's what a real local company gives you.

Booked Manaslu three weeks out and they still sorted the restricted permits in time. Honest pricing, zero hidden extras, and the teahouse picks were the best in every village.

I travelled solo and felt looked after from airport pickup to the farewell dal bhat. Poon Hill sunrise, a homestay in Ghandruk, and a guide who became a friend. Already planning Gokyo.

The walled city of Lo Manthang is like stepping back in time. Special permit approvals were handled seamlessly before my arrival. Highly recommend this professional team.

Questions, answered

Everything trekkers usually ask before booking. Anything else — our Thamel office replies within 24 hours.

Ask Us Directly

For classic routes like Poon Hill or Langtang, no — reasonable fitness and the will to walk 5–6 hours a day is enough. For EBC, the Annapurna Circuit or Manaslu, we recommend some multi-day hiking experience and 2–3 months of cardio preparation. We grade every trek honestly and will tell you straight if a route doesn't fit your level.

All permits (TIMS, national park, restricted-area where needed), a licensed English-speaking guide, porters, teahouse accommodation, three meals a day on the trail, airport transfers, and domestic flights where the itinerary requires them. International flights, travel insurance, drinks and tips are excluded — and we list every exclusion in writing before you pay anything.

Every itinerary builds in proper acclimatisation days, guides carry pulse oximeters and check clients daily above 3,000 m, and our routes always keep a descent option open. Guides are trained in first aid and, if ever needed, we coordinate helicopter evacuation with your insurer — which is why we require insurance covering trekking to your route's maximum altitude.

For autumn (Sep–Nov) departures, book 2–3 months ahead; restricted areas like Manaslu or Upper Mustang need at least 3 weeks for permits. We take a 20% deposit to confirm, with the balance payable on arrival in Kathmandu — card, bank transfer or cash.

Yes — most of our bookings are private, custom trips. Tell us your dates, group size and wishlist, and we build the route, pace and comfort level around you: extra rest days, homestay nights, side peaks, or combining treks with jungle safari and Kathmandu heritage tours.
