01.What We Collect

To arrange your trek we collect: name, contact details, nationality, passport details (for permits and flights), emergency contact, insurance policy details, and relevant health information you choose to share for safety at altitude.

02.How We Use It

• Arranging permits (TIMS, national park, restricted-area) with government bodies
• Booking domestic flights, hotels and teahouses in your name
• Coordinating emergency response with your insurer if ever needed
• Replying to your enquiries and sending trip documents

03.What We Never Do

We never sell your data. We never share it with anyone not directly involved in delivering your trip. Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and every one includes an unsubscribe link that works.

04.Storage & Security

Booking records are stored on access-controlled systems in our Kathmandu office. Passport copies collected for permits are deleted after the permit season ends. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider and never stored by us.

05.Photos

Guides sometimes photograph groups on the trail. We only use identifiable photos of you in our marketing with your written consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

06.Your Rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to legal record-keeping requirements for completed bookings). Email privacy@gotreknepalhimalaya.com.
