These terms exist so that both of us know exactly where we stand — read them alongside our Booking Policy and Privacy Policy.
By booking any trek, tour or expedition with Go Trek Nepal Himalaya Pvt. Ltd. (“the Company”), you accept these terms and conditions on behalf of yourself and everyone named on your booking. These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
A booking is confirmed when we receive your completed details and a 20% deposit. We will issue written confirmation with a full itinerary, inclusions and exclusions. The balance is payable on arrival in Kathmandu before the trip begins.
Prices are quoted in US dollars per person and include everything listed as included in your written confirmation — nothing more, nothing less. Quoted prices are guaranteed once your deposit is paid, except for changes in government taxes, permit fees or fuel surcharges beyond our control.
Date changes are free up to 15 days before departure, subject to availability. Route changes are treated as a cancellation and re-booking unless the price difference is minor. Name changes on domestic flights may carry airline fees.
Himalayan travel is weather-dependent. We may adjust itineraries for safety, flight delays or trail conditions; your guide's decision on safety matters is final. Where a significant change is within our control, we will offer an equivalent alternative or a refund of unused services.
Comprehensive travel insurance covering high-altitude trekking to your route's maximum elevation, including helicopter evacuation and medical treatment, is mandatory. We will verify your policy at the pre-trek briefing.
The Company acts with reasonable skill and care through licensed guides and established operators. We are not liable for events beyond our control, including weather, natural disasters, flight cancellations, political disturbance or the acts of third-party providers. Trekking involves inherent risk which you accept by booking.
Clients must follow the guide's reasonable instructions on trail, respect local customs, and carry no illegal substances. The Company may remove from a trip, without refund, anyone whose behaviour endangers themselves, the group or staff.
Raise any issue with your guide immediately so it can be fixed on the spot. Unresolved complaints should reach our Thamel office in writing within 28 days of your trip ending.
